Tips For Students
School is all about you! It is there to help you reach your highest potential. I assure you, if you could see into the future, you would be amazed at what you are capable of. When we’re young, it is difficult to think about the future. There is so much that matters right here, right now. Friends or lack of them are keys to our happiness. Feeling successful in school is really important. Feeling safe is essential! If you are not feeling good about any of these things, talk to someone who cares and learn to advocate for yourself, if you can. If you can’t, let me help you find a way.
It is often the case that students need someone to talk to. Sometimes, they don’t feel they can talk to their teachers, especially about personal problems. Some can’t even talk to their parents. If that is the case with you, and you are feeling misunderstood or unhappy, it is essential you talk to someone. If you are feeling alone, you are welcome to talk to me and perhaps I can share some ideas that can help.
I’d be interested to hear what inspires you and what you fear. Check out the white papers under Tips for Students. I address many areas that could be of interest to you as a student. New ones will be added over time. Some areas I will cover are:

If you have a request for something you think would benefit students, let me know. I am here to help students thrive in school and life. I am a principal who comes around to your side of the desk. You needn’t worry about confidentiality—that’s a given. Ask away, or I’ll just be an adult who really listens.
